Join us on November 8th as we volunteer with the Center for Child Protection and socialize at Lala's Little Nugget afterwards!

About The Event:
18 volunteers will partner with the Center for Child Protection to:
1) Assist with decorating tote bags for their Kid's Closet. The tote bags will be filled with resources such as hygiene items and given out to the clients and their families. We will add uplifting, gender-neutral designs like cartoon characters, quotes, animals, and flowers.
2) Move furniture and paint a vibrant, colorful wall in a new drop-in office space
The event will conclude with a tour of the facility. After the event, we will be socializing at Lala's Little Nugget with food and #volunbeers!

Dress Code: Comfortable clothes that you wouldn't mind getting paint on!
Directions and Parking: The building is on the right at the fork in the road when entering the campus. It’s recognizable by the blue pergola in the garden out front. A map of the campus is provided below.
More About the Center for Child Protection:
The Center of Child Protection's mission is to reduce trauma for children during the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children. Every day, the Center serves approximately 3-5 new children who have either been physically abused, sexually abused, or have witnessed a violent crime. They arrive at the Center, bravely tell their story to a professional, and begin their journey to justice and healing. Without the support of the Travis County community, this opportunity wouldn’t be possible for these young victims.
