About The Event:

25 volunteers will assist Pease Park Conservancy to help set up key areas for Squirrel Fest, help partners load in and set up their booths, and do any other tasks that come up before the event starts. After volunteering, we will be socializing at Hold Out Brewing with food and #volunbeers!


  • Date: Saturday, April 11th

  • Time: 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

  • Location: Pease Park (1100 Kingsbury St, Austin, TX 78703)

  • Afterparty: Hold Out Brewing (1208 W 4th St, Austin, TX 78703)


More Information and Special Instructions:

  • Dress Code: Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, as well as closed-toed shoes!

  • Parking: Parking is limited in Kingsbury Commons. They highly encourage alternative modes of transportation such as carpooling, public transportation, walking, biking, or ridesharing.  If you do drive, please park at the ACC Rio Grande Parking Garage (824 West 12th St). This parking area is FREE, offers 400 covered parking spots, and is just a short 5-minute walk to Pease Park along the Shoal Creek Greenbelt Trail.

  • Meeting Spot: Once you arrive at Pease Park, please check in at the PPC welcome tent. This will be on the South Lawn of Kingsbury Commons, just across from the Picnic Table area. Upon checking in, you will be designated a task.
