VU_ATX x Austin Creative Reuse again!

Join us on June 14th as we volunteer with the Austin Creative Reuse Center again to sort mixed craft materials, package projects, price sets of craft supplies, and assist with rolling fabrics. We recommend wearing warm clothes during the winter as their volunteer space can get chilly. Additionally, please bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated, and make sure to wear closed-toe shoes for safety and comfort.

The mission of the Austin Creative Reuse Center is to foster conservation and reuse through creativity, education, and community building. Through the discovery of the reuse of an object, a person will learn to evaluate use and purchase decisions based on the whole lifecycle of the object.

After the event, we'll be socializing at The Brewtorium Brewery & Kitchen for some #volunbeers!
