VU_ATX x Austin Humane Society

For June's event, we will be partnering with Austin Humane Society to complete a variety of tasks such as cleaning/feeding cat housing areas, washing kennel vans (weather permitting), cleaning/sanitizing pet carriers, washing windows, making dog treats, making dog and/or cat toys, and filling bags for their Pet Food Pantry. Volunteers are REQUIRED to wear closed toed shoes! Pants or shorts are okay, and shirts can have short or long sleeves.

The Austin Humane Society is the the longest-standing no-kill, non-profit pet and adoption center in Austin. They're dedicated to saving Austin’s homeless cats and dogs, educating our community about responsible pet ownership, and reducing pet overpopulation.
