VU_ATX x PEAS

For May's event, we will be partnering with PEAS (Partners for Education, Agriculture, and Sustainability) to do some seasonal gardening and beautification in the playground areas of Rodriguez Elementary School. We will be entirely outdoors so come prepared to sweat! Light clothing, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, and close toed shoes are highly suggested. As always, bring a water bottle and we'll have some light snacks for volunteers.

The mission of PEAS is to cultivate joyful connections with the natural world through outdoor learning and edible education. PEAS provides trained outdoor and edible education specialists who partner directly with classroom teachers at each school’s campus to lead outdoor and kitchen lessons, enhancing students’ time spent learning in a hands-on environment.
